My educational honors include a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Cincinnati and a Master’s of Science Degree in Environmental Education from Lesley University. I have over twenty year’s experience teaching environmental education to children and young adults. I have had the pleasure to know the names of over five thousand children in that time.

I completed a one-year course in narrative therapy, taught by Jill Freedman and Gene Combs, and have completed many narrative therapy workshops. I attended the International Narrative Therapy Conference, in Vancouver, in 2012 and 2017.

I have presented at:

  • African-American Folk Festival at the Smithsonian in Washington DC

  • Barnard College
  • Cincinnati Private Practice Group in Ohio
  • Columbia University
  • Montgomery County Children’s Services
